An Unmatched Commitment to Service Excellence

FRMG’s service commitment is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our radiologist physicians are willing to consult on and read at any hour of the day. We realize that communication with referring physicians is essential. That’s why we will directly contact referring physicians with critical and/or unexpected results. Reports are typically available within minutes of interpretation and less than an hour after scanning, thanks to our use of voice recognition technology to create reports as quickly as possible.

Our radiologists are always available to review studies with referring physicians. We value the relationships we have with imaging centers and referring physicians. We align our goals with the goals of our referring clinicians and healthcare systems.

We offer comprehensive women’s health services such as breast biopsy, 3D ultrasound, uterine artery embolization, mammogram and 3D mammogram readings at our women’s health center.

About Our Physicians

MICHAEL R. BRAND, MD

MICHAEL R. BRAND, MD - Anaheim, CA“I’ve always been a visual thinker, so radiology was instantly appealing. I enjoy the constant challenge of detecting imaging abnormalities and then delivering accurate interpretations, especially in subtle and/or complex cases. Musculoskeletal/sports medicine imaging, including MR arthrography, is an area of great interest.

“I treat every patient as if he or she is a family member. My goal is to deliver better care than they have had before and better care than they expect. The stability of our radiologist workforce shows their dedication to our group, the facilities we serve and our patients.”

MICHAEL G. CHAN, MD

MICHAEL G. CHAN, MD - Anaheim, CA“During medical school, I saw the great impact radiology has on the care of patients. I loved the process of diagnosis and directing treatment that is made possible by advanced radiologic techniques. I also enjoyed the dialogue between radiologists and other physicians, particularly when discussing the best plan of action for patients. During my residency, I saw that as an interventional radiologist, I could diagnose and help treat patients, and I really enjoyed being able to consult with patients.

“Interventional radiology is what I am most passionate about. I love being able to help treat patients and cure disease all through a tiny puncture in the skin. The best plan of action for a patient is one that involves the patient. I try to explain what is happening in a patient’s body using my medical knowledge, answer any questions and collaborate with the patient to develop a plan of care. Besides providing excellent care, I hope that I can teach patients about their health and help cultivate a comfortable environment when planning and performing procedures.”

THOMAS H. LEE, MD

THOMAS H. LEE, MD - Anaheim, CA“When I was a medical student at UCLA, the radiology residents seemed to be the smartest – they always figured out the most difficult diagnoses.

“Today, I enjoy the new technology, understanding the anatomy of the body and treatment by minimally invasive techniques. I believe in treating patients as I would treat a family member or loved one. My goal is always to give my patients the best diagnosis and treatment with the least amount of pain and suffering.”

DARICE LIU, MD, DABR

DARICE LIU, MD - Anaheim, CA“I chose the field of radiology because I love to help clinicians find the answers they need to best treat their patients. I enjoy the challenge of performing an image-guided procedure accurately and safely, and I find it very satisfying when I can perform a lifesaving procedure.

“I enjoy every aspect of my specialty – the reading of films, the collaboration with clinicians, the search for answers, the answers to the search, the saving of lives, the saving of limbs, and the treatment of different diseases. The most enjoyable aspect of my specialty is when a surgeon or pathologist confirms what I had diagnosed on imaging. The most gratifying aspect of my profession is when a patient or their family members thank me for saving their lives or saving their family member’s lives or legs.

“My philosophy/approach to patient care is this: Treat every patient like family. I hope to give patients the answers they are looking for and the relief they need.”
